The Ford Transit Custom claims first and second spots at the International Van Of the Year 2020 both the Ford Transit Custom Hybrid and Ford Transit Mild Hybrid vans beat the nearest competitor by some margin which was the VW Transporter T6.1. Other vans shortlisted were the new Renault Master, Iveco Daily & Fiat Ducato vans.
Ford also claimed the International Pickup of the Year 2020 prize with the Ford Ranger fighting off competition from Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota Hilux.
The Chairman of the International Van of the Year Jury, Jariath Sweeney believes that Ford vans deserve significant credit in developing their range of hybrid vans.
