
All hirers and drivers for Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles must be over 25 years of age and under 70 years of age and have held a full British driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, free from endorsements - although some endorsements may be acceptable. We need to be told of any endorsements in the last 5 years.
For Minibuses and 7.5 Ton Lorries the minimum age is 30 years and under 65 years, you must have held a full British Driving Licence since January 1997 and you must have the following specific categories on the driving licence to be entitled to drive it:
A Full Driving Licence to cover the vehicle you are driving must be produced together with other identification with your name and address on at the time of collection. If you hold the new style Driving Licence you must produce the card and counterpart. There will be no hire without both parts.
All vehicles are insured except for refundable deposit. The hirer is responsible for the payment of the refundable deposit. Breakdown Rates include either AA, RAC or Car Recovery Club membership for the period of the hire and also maintenance and insurance. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused by negligence and any damage to the sides or roof on Vans.
The cost of the rental is payable in advance. The insurance deposit is paid on collection.
Full conditions of hire are contained in the Rental Agreement to which the customers' attention is drawn. The right is reserved to change rates and conditions of rental without notice.
Under normal hire, vehicles may not be taken outside mainland Britain (i.e. England, Scotland and Wales). Prices for continental hire are available on request. Five star cover and insurance requirements apply.
